Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

28.08.17 | Ashley | No Comments

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Reese Specialty Foods. The opinions and text are all my own.

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip RecipeI would definitely have to say that the kitchen is the heart of my home. Whenever I have friends or family over, somehow everyone always ends up congregating around the counter, munching on snacks and spending quality time together. So it’s always a MUST that I have something cooking or ready to serve for my get-togethers.

Today, I’m switching up a traditional recipe with a few unexpected ingredients, but a whole lot of flavor! This buffalo spinach artichoke dip is the perfect dish to serve your hungry guests and upgrade a common and basic appetizer into something fresh and new!

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip RecipeI love thinking outside of the box, experimenting, and introducing my friends to flavors or ingredients that they’d otherwise not normally have tried. But, as you guys also know, I’m ALL about easy. No one has time to slave away in the kitchen for hours. (At least I don’t!) So I am always on the hunt for recipes that are full of flavor but easy too. And this buffalo spinach artichoke dip is just that!

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip RecipeFor this appetizer I partnered up with Reese Specialty Foods and used a few different ingredients of theirs! I love their products in my recipes because they are simple, delicious, completely versatile, and are Non-GMO Project Verified! You can pick them up at your local grocery and retail stores around the country. (To find the location nearest you, check out the product locator).

In this recipe, I’m actually adding an ingredient that you might not be super familiar with. Have you guys heard of or used Hearts of Palm before?

They are quite popular around the world and considered a delicacy! They are also low in calories, and full of great nutritional benefits, like vitamin C, fiber, iron, potassium, and protein! They are great to use in salads, dips, or even deep-fried for a crunchy treat!

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip RecipeBut, now let’s get to what’s important…the delicious recipe!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

  • 8 oz. Frozen Spinach (Thawed and Squeeze Dry)
  • ½ Large Jalapeno, Diced
  • 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • ½ Jar Alfredo Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • 2 or 3 Garlic Cloves, Diced
  • 1 8 oz. Package Cream Cheese
  • 14 oz. Can Reese Chopped Artichoke Hearts
  • 1 Cup Hearts of Palm, Chopped
  • Pepper to Taste

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Coat a baking pan with olive oil.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.

Spread the dip mixture evenly into one baking dish, or two smaller baking dishes.

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe(If you like the flavor and kick from buffalo sauce, drizzle more buffalo sauce over the top of the dip).

Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly.

Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes.

Buffalo Spinach Artichoke Dip RecipeServe with your favorite chips, crackers, crostini, or fresh veggies.

With a few simple additions to a basic recipe, this buffalo spinach artichoke dip couldn’t be easier and will have you serving up a new flavor profile at your next gathering. It’s easy to put a little <3 in your recipe with Reese!
