Stuck on what to give out to trick or treaters this year? In charge of snacks for your child’s classroom treats? Or do you just want to spread a little Halloween cheer around the office? Whichever scenario you may find yourself in this year (and, yes, you may be stuck with more than one of those too!), today’s fun idea will take the guess work out of them all! Plus, I’m giving you guys a free download to make your lives that much easier! 😉 These Halloween treat bag toppers add the perfect spooky touch to pre-packaged treats so that you can attach and go, without spending a ton of time baking, making, or hunting for the perfect snack!
The printable files for this DIY fit perfectly on the Kellogg’s® snack packs that I used. I visited my local Smith’s store to purchase my products, but you can visit any Kroger or Kroger banner store to find the same products that I used. Or you can even hover over the image above to start shopping for your favorite Halloween snacks online too!
I seriously love the little Kellogg’s® snack packs. I’m in my 30’s, don’t have kids, and they still always seem to end up in my cart when I’m grocery shopping! They are just so convenient and I love throwing them in my purse when I’m running out the door to work, or out to meet friends or family.
Some of my faves include the Keebler® & Cheez-It® Variety Pack, the Keebler® Cookie Mini Fudge Stripes, and, of course, I couldn’t forget Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies Treats® Original! They are classic, delicious snacks that have been making memories for kids and parents alike for generations. And, those Mini Fudge Stripe Cookies…ummm, yum. Those shortbread mini cookies are striped with delicious fudge thats made from 100% real cocoa. (They also happen to be one of my weaknesses!)
Now that you’ve figured out what snacks to get, let’s move onto the easy DIY!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- Kellogg’s Snack Packs
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Printable Halloween Treat Bag Topper File
First, download and print your halloween treat bag toppers.
Using scissors or a paper trimmer, cut them out individually. (The smaller tags fits perfectly on the Original Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats and the larger tags fit perfectly on Keebler & Cheez-It snack packs).
Using a stapler, attach the larger tags to the tops of the snack pack bags, and the smaller tags to the sizes of the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats packages.
Seriously, the most simple DIY to give those little snack pack bags a fun Halloween makeover! You can even involve the kids and have them help you assemble them too!
So who are you guys going to give your halloween treat bag toppers and snacks too this halloween?
