One of my favorite ways to incorporate some holiday fun is in a cocktail! It’s a perfect and easy way to infuse a little spook this Halloween! But Halloween doesn’t always have to be full of ghosts or goblins. I created this midnight in the garden Halloween cocktail, that’s perfectly posh and sophisticated for the adults. It comes complete with snakes and spiders, because those creepy crawly garden dwellers should have a little fun too! 😉
This recipe uses only 4 ingredients, so it’s the perfect cocktail recipe to grab and bring with you when heading to a party or Halloween event. It’s also simple to make, so mixing up a batch for your party guests is simple! Not attending any parties this year? It’s also delish to sip and enjoy while sitting on the couch, watching scary movies! 😉
Dark and moody purple tones and fresh blackberries and basil add an earthy flavor to this drink. Plus, the fact that it’s so pretty, doesn’t hurt either! 😉

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- 3-4 Blackberries
- 2 oz. Sprite (I use the mini 7.5 oz. cans)
- 3 Basil Leaves
- 1.5 oz. BACARDÍ® Superior Rum
In a small glass, muddle the blackberries and basil together.
Add the BACARDÍ® Superior Rum and the Sprite. Mix well.
Top with ice and garnish with a blackberry and basil leaf.
Serve this drink to your guests with a snake or spider on the napkin for a fun Halloween touch.
