Blackberry, Goat Cheese and Honey Appetizers

22.02.19 | Ashley | No Comments

Blackberry, Goat Cheese and Honey AppetizersOscar’s weekend is upon us and whether you’re planning to throw a big blow out party, have a few friends over, or just plan to curl up and watch in your pj’s, I have the EASIEST appetizer for you to add to your party menu! These blackberry, goat cheese and honey appetizers are glam enough to be the star of the show, but they are also delicious! And that golden honey drizzle is definitely Oscar worthy!

Blackberry, Goat Cheese and Honey AppetizersAnother reason why I love this appetizer so much…? You only need FOUR ingredients to make them! I don’t think it gets much easier than that!

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

  • Crackers
  • Blackberries, Washed
  • Goat Cheese
  • Honey

The amount of ingredients required for this recipe completely depends on how many blackberry, goat cheese and honey appetizers you plan to make. Each bite requires one cracker, one berry, a smear of goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey. And plan on guests eating more than one. These little babies are addicting and light enough to eat a few!

I used pita crackers for these blackberry, goat cheese and honey appetizers, but you can use any cracker you prefer. Try to stick with something less flavored, so that the blackberry, honey, and goat cheese flavors shine through. Tricuits, classic rounds, toast crisps, or pita crackers would all be great choices. (I also chose a triangle shaped cracker because I loved the elegance it added to the plate!)

To make the appetizers, spread a dollop of goat cheese on the center of each cracker.

And even though these blackberry, goat cheese and honey appetizers are gorgeous enough to serve during awards season, they really are an easy appetizer to serve for an formal or non formal event you’re hosting!

Looking for an Oscar worthy cocktail? I love this one!
