I’m writing to you guys from the road today. Not literally, but when this post goes live I’ll be smack dab in the middle of my cross country road trip (and hopefully at least half way there). The drive is over 2,000 miles and I’m hoping to make it to the edge of Tennessee (and Josh) in two days. Crazy, maybe? But I’m just sooooo ready to be there. And because tomorrow is October 1st, I didn’t want you guys waiting on me to get my life together (which will probably take a little bit), so I’m posting the new printable October 2019 calendar coloring page today to get you into the Halloween spirit and ready for my very favorite month of the year!

Outdoor Grilled Pizza Night
Fall is officially here, but it’s no excuse not to enjoy the cooler (and more enjoyable!) outdoor nights on the patio with friends and family! The perfect way to do that, imo, is by hosting an outdoor grilled pizza night! If you’ve never grilled pizza on the barbecue before, your life is about to be changed forever! I’ll never go back now that I now how easy it is to make and how delicious it is. (THE CRUST YOU GUYS…OMG…TO DIE FOR). I’m sharing a few tips to make your own grilled bbq pizzas, plus some delish and easy pizza recipes, the perfect cocktail to make for a crowd, and a fun way to make dessert on the grill too!

Although I’m a little sad that summer is coming to an end, one thing that I’m looking forward to is football season! There’s nothing like sitting down with friends to watch a game, eat your favorite snacks, and sip on a beverage or two. Since football season is right around the corner, I’m sharing some easy fall football party ideas to help you score a touchdown at your next event!
Peaches and Cream Cake
I’m officially kitchen-less and it feels so weird! I’m living in that limbo moment of time where I’m still in Salt Lake City, minus a house, and not quite to Charlotte, in a rental. All of my normal cake supplies and baking tools are packed in boxes, sitting in a storage unit, and I’m completely relying on my sister’s house for anything I might have forgotten that I needed during this month. So when it came time to make this peaches and cream cake, I knew I could count on my friend Natalie (and her kitchen tools!) to help me pull it all together. (She’s the person I started this girl’s night with too!) It was also a really good excuse to get together to make one more cake before I head east!
Easy Cherry Galette Recipe
A galette will always be one of those pastry recipes that wows. No matter what ingredients you choose to fill that flakey pastry dough with, it always looks impressive and gorgeous in an unfinished way. But don’t let it’s beauty intimidate you. A galette also happens to be one of the easiest pastries to make! With summer winding down, I’m sharing this easy cherry galette recipe to help you finish off all of those fresh end of summer cherries!
