We’re probably not trick or treating this year, but we are still trying to make Halloween just as fun at our house. I’m going to plan a fun little scavenger hunt and I plan on having lots of candy around the house too! But instead of the usual candy and chocolate, I’m going to dress things up a bit to make them a bit more fun using these printable Halloween candy wrappers! They are free to download and print and so simple to use!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- Scissors
- Plastic Bags
- Stapler & Staples
- Mini Candy Bars & Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Tape
- Printable Halloween Bag Toppers
- Printable Halloween Candy Wrappers
To create the bag toppers, fill small treat bags or ziplock bags with assorted candy and seal.
Cut out the individual Halloween candy bag toppers (there are two per page).
Fold the bag toppers in half and attach to the top of the candy bag using a stapler.
You can use the bags for a fun way to dress up traditional treats, hide them for a scavenger hunt, or pass them out to trick or treaters!
For the candy wrappers, I used the Reese’s new Franken-Cup peanut butter cups. I love how fun they are with the green colored creme!
These wrappers were made to fit these candy packages, but should work for other similar sized candy too.
To make the Halloween candy wrappers, print out the file and cut out each of the individual wraps.
Fold the wrap around each Reese’s bar and attach onto the back using tape.
They’re so fun and cute to use to fill a candy bowl on the table, leave them on the doorstep for a friend, or give them to teachers or classmates!
However you choose to dress up your candy this year, either of these options are a fun and simple way to add some extra Halloween flair!
