Christmas is right around the corner and although I won’t be shaking up festive drinks or making fancy appetizers for friends this year, I’m still going to imagine the party that will be going down next year, complete with this Christmas cocktail party playlist blaring through the speakers! And, until then, I’m going to dance around in my sweatpants instead!
We’re going retro with this one…back to the glamorous era of glitz, big hair, stiff cocktails, and tinsel. Lots of tinsel.
I can only imagine Joan Harris turning up this Christmas cocktail party playlist on the radio at the Sterling Cooper office Christmas party, while kicking off the conga line. (Where are my fellow Mad Men fans at?!)
Some of the songs are classics and others might be new to you, but all of them are Christmas cocktail party perfect. It’s also the perfect excuse to get all dressed up, make and pour a few drinks for yourself, and celebrate at home in style this year with a little help from this playlist! Because any excuse to get dressed up is a good one!
