I’ve been a boating fan ever since I was little. I grew up playing on the dock at my Aunt and Uncle’s cottage, catching fish (and turtles!), tubing, and loving when we were able to take their boat out and speed around, especially when I got to sit up front and hit allll the waves! Since buying our own boat, we try to take it out on the water as much as possible during the summer. It’s one of the things I love about living close to so many different lakes in Charlotte! I find it so relaxing to pack up a picnic or some snacks, play some tunes, and head out onto the lake. But the right music can make definitely all the difference. Today I’m sharing the perfect summer boating playlist to help you spend your long summer days out on the water!
To make sure that you have the best time out on your own boating adventure, we’ve curated not one, but TWO different versions of a summer boating playlist for you!
We each created our own version of what we’d want to listen to when spending time out on the boat.
My playlist is made up of the type of songs you can sing, dance, and play in the background when boating with a group of friends. There’s a summer vibe sprinkled throughout the whole playlist, but some party classics and some new hits are all mixed in!
Josh is a big country music fan (and I am not), but he claims that this is the best country summer boating playlist around. He picked some newer songs, but a lot of old gems are in there too. I’ll have to take his word for it.
You can save both or pick whichever one you’d prefer more! They’re both great options depending on who you plan to go boating with!
