Christmas is right around the corner and although I won’t be shaking up festive drinks or making fancy appetizers for friends this year, I’m still going to imagine the party that will be going down next year, complete with this Christmas cocktail party playlist blaring through the speakers! And, until then, I’m going to dance around in my sweatpants instead!
Printable Holiday ‘Elf’ Coffee Gift Card Holder
I’ve been trying to share this project for the last week, but I’ve been dealing with rainy and overcast weather here in Charlotte and the lighting just wasn’t cooperating. But I finally got a break and was able to shoot the printable holiday ‘Elf’ coffee gift card holder this morning, just in time for all of those last minute gifts!
Printable Winter Activity Checklist
I’m one of those people that lives for a holiday (you either love us or hate us). I’m the friend who’s always planning new activities, looking up fun events, or planning a new adventure, all while simultaneously trying to get everyone else to go and do them with me. I try to squeeze in as many things as I can to really make myself feel like I’m getting the most out of the season. To be honest, I think it’s me trying to recreate the holiday magic that I always felt as a kid. Once you turn into an adult, the magic just isn’t the same. So instead of just going through the motions, I really try to stop and take in as much of a holiday or season as I can. One way I like to do that is to create a checklist! I make a list of all the things I want to do that make me feel the “magic” again. The items change based on the holiday, or the season, and can be new things I’ve never done before, or classic go-to traditions that I make sure to accomplish each year. Today, I’m sharing my printable winter activity checklist with you guys!
Master Bathroom Renovation Plans
Guys, big things are starting to happen at the house and I finally feel like I can see the light at the end of the renovation tunnel. It’s been a long 4 months so far, but we’re getting there. We’ve given ourselves a deadline of Christmas, so it’s time to really push through and get this baby finished. One of the biggest projects in phase 1 is the master bathroom. We’re almost doing a complete gut job, but before the reveal happens, I want to share the details for the master bathroom renovation plans that we’re tackling to change the look and feel of the space!
Support Veterans with Blue Buffalo® Dog Food
This shop has been compensated by Inmar Intelligence and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BLUESierraDelta
As you guys already know, I have a pug that’s full of energy and a little trouble maker. She also happens to be VERY picky about her food. As much as pugs love their food, Sophie has no problem taking a sniff of her bowl and walking away if it’s not something she thinks is going to be delicious (spoiled much?). About a year ago, I made the switch over to Blue Buffalo® and she LOVES it. Not only do I feel great feeding her something that’s such high quality, but I recently found out that Blue Buffalo® has teamed up with Sierra Delta to help supply service dogs to veterans! During the month of November, you guys can also choose to help support veterans with Blue Buffalo®! [Read more…]

Our Napa Elopement
One year ago (a few days ago) me and Josh were eloping in Napa, California. Still the best decision we made (both eloping and marrying each other 😉 ) And now, a year later I realized that I haven’t shared many of our weddings photos or our video with you guys! It’s always fun and interesting to see the behind the scenes details and the little moments that make someone’s wedding so special, so I thought I would share all the things that made our Napa elopement so “us”. And I’m a few days delayed from sharing, because we’re in Napa again as I type, celebrating our anniversary with more wine!
Weekend Road Trip Playlist
Fall is one of my very favorite times to get in the car, roll down the windows and drive. Either toward a fun destination for a weekend road trip, or just to see the leaves changing colors and to take in the crisp fall air in your own neighborhood. (It also usually involves me tracking down the nearest apple cider donuts). This year, more than ever, lots of people are forced to vacation closer to home, which means more time in the car than usual. One of the ways I like to make the time pass on a long trip is with good music! So today I’m sharing a fun and easy weekend road trip playlist full of tunes that are perfect to listen to out on the open road! [Read more…]
