There really is no bad time to jump in head first, and with all of the amazing content out there just waiting to be discovered, I think now is as good a time as any. I’m a huge fan of semi-homemade meals. I can remember watching Sandra Lee on the Food Network when I was younger and I still love the idea of using some store bought items and some homemade ones, to get dinner on the table quickly. With the holiday season coming up and busy schedules on the rise, getting a meal on the table that doesn’t involve going through the drive thru first, is a challenge in and of itself. Plus, when the weather gets colder outside, I crave easy, warm dinners that don’t require a lot of effort on my part. Today, I’m sharing an easy meal idea, that’s perfect for the family and also includes a recipe for easy focaccia bread sticks too!
I almost didn’t post this cake. It has flaws and wasn’t up to par with my perfectionist self, then I thought…but it tastes good! It might not look pinterest perfect, but this chocolate stout beer cake with beer frosting still deserves it’s moment. And sometimes, it’s ok to post a project with flaws. I know when I see someone else do it, it makes me feel a little more adequate. I’m not a professional cake maker, and don’t claim to be. But I love making cakes (and eating them!), and this cake is just one more notch in my cake baking experience column.
These chocolate worm whoopie pies are delicious and add a fun and creepy element to an otherwise normal dessert. Check out the recipe below!
I have an obsession with whoopie pies. Macarons were in the spotlight for awhile there, but I’m definitely team whoopie pie. Anyone else with me? They are simple to make and filled with cream or frosting. (What’s not to love about that?) Plus, you can transform them into a fun Halloween themed dessert in a pinch too! These chocolate worm whoopie pies are delicious and add a fun and creepy element to an otherwise normal dessert…and you guys know I’m all about that!
They appeal to both kiddo’s and adults alike and, in my opinion, desserts are soooo much better when they are infested with worms! 😉
