I’m back again today with another round of ideas to make your holiday shopping that much easier! This time around I’ve put together a TON of stocking stuffer ideas for him! (I shared stocking stuffer ideas for her yesterday, if you missed it!)
Every year, I really try to pick items that my husband will actually want to use and not just fill his stocking with junk because it’s easy. So if you’re on the hunt for some great ideas, I’ve got you, and the man in your life, covered! 😉
Tis’ the season for gift giving and one of my VERY favorite things to shop for is stocking stuffers! I love thinking outside of the box and filling up stockings with gifts that people will actually use and enjoy. It’s too easy to fill a stocking with junk that’s just going to sit and get dusty, so take the time to put a little more energy into them and grab some unexpected stocking stuffer gifts that will be a hit! I’ll be sharing 3 different stocking stuffer gift lists this week, and today it’s all about stocking stuffer ideas for her! [Read more…]
Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and, thankfully, I think I’m off the hook for preparing dinner this year. It’s my first year close to Josh’s family and I was fully prepared to be the one hosting everyone in our rental house, which would have been less than ideal. But Josh’s aunt saved the day and invited us over to her place. Not sure I’ll get so lucky next year though. 😉 If you’re in charge of dinner prep for your family’s thanksgiving festivities this year, I’m sure you’re on the hunt for the perfect table setting and all of the yummy recipes. But one detail that often gets overlooked is the butter. It’s something simple, but with the easiest little entertaining trick you can turn it into a showstopper. In today’s post, I’m showing you guys how to make shaped butter, which is SO simple, but can really elevate your Thanksgiving table!
St. Patrick’s Day is next week and one of the most popular ways to celebrate is by drinking a glass of delicious green beer! But you don’t have to go to your local bar to grab one. You can make your own! It’s super simple to do and you can use any variety of beer! Using only two ingredients, I’ll show you how to make green beer!
March 17th celebrates the traditional date of death of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day also happens to be celebrated in more countries than any other national festival! Crazy, right?! But for most people, it’s just an excuse to drink green beer, dress like a leprechaun, and eat traditional Irish grub! And an excuse for me to make cute kitschy desserts too! This year, I’m not waiting around to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow…I’m making my own pot of gold with these St. Patrick’s Day Golden Coin Cookies!
Today, I’m sharing the easiest white hot chocolate recipe that you can fix and forget in the crockpot and the CUTEST North Pole stir sticks that will get everyone into the holiday spirit! This North Pole hot chocolate is so easy to make and so much fun to drink! It’s the perfect whimsical treat to sip while sitting near the tree and reading Christmas stories with the kids, or while wrapping presents and listening to your favorite Christmas music! And don’t worry….there’s no age limit for this yummy drink! 😉
