Easy Cheeseburger PastaEasy Cheeseburger PastaAfter getting married last year, I became a stepmom, which added a whole new element to dinnertime at our house. I hadn’t prepared many dinners for kids before and now trying to find something that my stepson will actually eat is a challenge (he’d eat chicken fingers for every meal if he could). This easy cheeseburger pasta recipe is simple to make, delicious, and it comes together in no time. And with the name “cheeseburger” in the title, it’s easy to get the kids on board too! It definitely reminds me of a boxed version my mom used to make when I was little, but it’s SO much better and just as easy!

Easy Cheeseburger PastaThis easy cheeseburger pasta is perfect for a weeknight dinner since it doesn’t take much time to make. Plus it only requires 5 ingredients and one pan! That’s my kind of dinner!

For this recipe, I purchased the 24 oz. sized bottled of the medium Pace® Picante Sauce at my local Walmart store because I love the bold kick of flavor it adds and I know I’ll use it for other dinners and snacks too! The smoothly blended tomatoes, chunks of savory onions and famously fresh, hand-picked jalapeños make Pace Picante Sauce the perfect ingredient to add some additional flavor in this easy cheeseburger pasta. It’s available in mild, medium and hot, but medium is perfect for this recipe and isn’t too spicy for little kids either.

I love the variety of products that Walmart carries, including Pace Picante Sauce and Pace Chunky Salsa, and the everyday low prices they have so that I can pick up the other ingredients I need for this easy cheeseburger pasta too.

You can even shop for the ingredients online!

But let’s get back to the recipe!

Easy Cheeseburger PastaHere’s what you’ll need to make your own:

  • 1/2 Cup Pace Picante Sauce – Medium
  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • 3 1/2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 3 Cups Uncooked Shell Pasta
  • 1 Can ( 10 oz.) Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned.

Add the beef broth to the skillet and stir. Heat to a boil and then stir in the pasta.

Reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 10 minutes or until the pasta is tender.

Add the cheese soup and Pace Picante Sauce to the skillet and stir well.

Cook until heated through.

Serve immediately.
