I can’t believe that today is the first day of May!
And you know what that’s means…
Summer is right around the corner but Mother’s Day is only 10 days away!! Are you ready yet?
I tend to be a procrastinator when it comes to picking out gifts, but if a party or an event is involved, I am a super planner.
I love getting lost in the fun details and putting together a pretty little table. And that’s exactly what I’m doing today!
That gooey marshmallow mixed with the crunchy cereal just has a way of making me happy. Like, really happy. Eat a whole pan to myself kind of happy.
I’ve been a die hard to the original for a really long time, but I got daring one day and tried out a few new flavors.
Best decision ever. Mind blown.
This one is perfect for an upcoming holiday that’s right around the corner…Cinco de Mayo!
I know I’m a bit biased, but these little party hats are just the cutest. Yes, they are a little silly, but the cuteness factor definitely surpasses everything else.
I may have worn this around for most of the afternoon. And danced. Just a little bit.
If you happen to live in Utah, you’ll probably catch me sporting one of these DIY sombrero headbands around on Cinco de Mayo. I can’t seem to get enough of em’.
I find that you’re either a sweet or a salt person. No, not personality wise…I’m talking snacks. Snacks are my love language. People have given me the nickname “snack time” in the past. I don’t mess around with this subject.
I also happen to be obsessed with sugar, but I think everyone else in my family prefers salt. All the better for me, since I don’t have to hide my Oreos and Little Debbie snack cakes behind the cereal and flour in our pantry.
Anytime a bag of chips is opened in our house, they seem to be
inhaled eaten before I can blink. Do you guys have the same problem?
Cinco de Mayo is just about two weeks away. Holy frijole! (See, I’m already in the mood).
Usually, when I plan a get together they tend to take a turn from “small and intimate” to “over the top” before long. Go hard or go homeless, right? (That’s what I tell myself anyways. Thanks to E-40 and Big Sean for the tip).
Invitations are always the first thing that your guests see. It can get people super excited and looking forward to your soiree. They also happen to be the first place that I like to set the tone about what’s to come.
A traditional paper invite always has it’s place, but why not make your invites a little more fun?
Normally, I’m not into the traditional pineapple cake, so instead, I decided to turn a traditional dessert on it’s head and make something different and a little more fun, but using all of the same flavors.
What did I make….?
I’m sharing a (very) easy project today about how to make your very own DIY gilded succulents.
This is when all of the true green-thumbers out there are starting to cringe. Gilded succulents? PAINTED succulents?!
But first, I’m going to give you guys a little biology lesson so that you do it the right way and not the wrong way!
