Don’t worry…I’m fully aware that it’s currently September and I’m over here posting snow cones. But, to plead my case, it was 91 degrees yesterday, so I don’t feel too bad about making these yummy treats instead of sipping on Pumpkin Spice Lattes at this point of the season. Trust me. I’ll have pleeeeenty of PSL time in my future, considering we won’t see warmer temps in Utah until May next year. So I’m just going to be over here enjoying the sun a little bit longer. If you’re like me and still embracing the warmth, these strawberry snow cone printables are the perfect way to turn a boring old snow cone into the cutest little frozen treat!
With a few simple supplies, these little strawberries will be ready to be “picked” and devoured.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
- Strawberry Snow Cone Printable File
- Strawberry Syrup
- Snow Cone Cups
- Snow Cone Machine or Crushed Ice
- Toothpicks
- Scissors
- Tape
Download and print your strawberry snow cone printables file.
Cut out the green strawberry topper and the strawberry body.
Using tape, attach the back of the green topper to a toothpick, leaving some of the toothpick sticking out of the bottom so that it’s easy to insert into your finished snow cone. Set them aside.
Next, it’s time to make your snow cones!
Using a snow cone machine, or previously crushed ice, fill your snow cone cups. (I like to fill mine generously at first, because they will melt a bit when you add your syrup).
Pour your strawberry syrup over the snow cone. Add more crushed ice to the tops, if they melt, and top with more syrup.
Pop the snow cones into the freezer for a few minutes to allow them to set before adding the strawberry printables around the cups. (If you don’t have a display stand for your snow cones, just place them into drinking glasses with narrow tops to hold them upright while they set).
Remove the snow cones from the freezer after about 5 minutes, and wipe off any remaining syrup or ice drips.
Place the strawberry printable wraps around the snow cone cups and tape into place.
Insert the green strawberry toothpick toppers into the top of each snow cone.
Serve immediately.
If you’ve already moved onto Fall, pin these little babies and save them for next year. These strawberry snow cone printables are just too cute not to make!
