I couldn’t help but squeeze one last blog post into 2019, because this one is so simple and is a perfect appetizer to make to ring in the new year! My family has an on-going new year’s eve dinner tradition that I love. We always get together as a family to game plan our appetizer line up, then my mom gathers all the ingredients and makes all the yummy treats. (Don’t worry…we help too). For “dinner” we just fill up our plates with snacks. What’s better than that?! You get a little taste of everything and can keep going back for more until you’re stuffed! It’s the perfect way to indulge one last time before the holiday season is over. Whether you’re braving the crowd to celebrate with friends or staying in and celebrating in pj’s and eating appetizers like me, this easy apple and brie appetizer takes no time to throw together so you can enjoy them before heading out, bring them with you to a party, or snack on them while hanging on the couch.
If you’re in charge of hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year you have either not given any thought to the centerpiece for your table, or you’ve given it too much thought and stressed about what you’re going to do. Whichever scenario you might fall into, I’m sharing a stunning, simple, and oh, so easy, DIY Thanksgiving apple centerpiece that will turn any table into a showstopper.
With a few natural elements that you can find at your local grocery store and in your own yard, this rustic and unexpected centerpiece is a nod to that crisp Fall weather that I want to hang onto as long as possible!
I’ve always been a Disney fan, but throw Halloween into the mix and I’m a HUGE fan. The last few years I’ve turned attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party, at either Disneyland or Disney World, into a new tradition. I love all things Halloween already, but Disney Halloweens do not disappoint! This year, I wasn’t able to go so I wanted to incorporate my own Disney touches into my home Halloween decor. This DIY Halloween poison apple pumpkin is a nod to all of the Disney villains that deserve a little recognition this time of year, and when celebrating the bad is actually very, very good!

Holiday baking season is upon us and with that comes a very messy kitchen! But this year, I’m more prepared than ever before! I’m sharing my trick for scrubbing kitchen messes away quickly and I’m also sharing a sticky, gooey, and delicious recipe for caramel apple slab pie that is so good you won’t even be thinking about that messy kitchen.
It’s apple picking season and one of my favorite fall activities! Besides making pies, and treats, what are other ways you can use up those delicious apples or apple cider? By making these tasty apple cider bellini cocktails!
It’s definitely my favorite season by far. Crisp evenings, crunchy leaves, pumpkin flavored everything, and Halloween!
One of the things I missed out on last year, was picking fresh apples at an orchard. It was on my bucket list for the season, but I waited too long and missed out. For future reference, the middle of October is too late!
One of the most popular drinks of the season (Cough, cough, the pumpkin spice latte) seems to take center stage over the next few months, but I feel like there are a few drinks that lose the limelight and shouldn’t!
Homemade apple cider is one of them and a perfect excuse to take a trip to the orchard for too!
