If you’re looking for a fun and different way to celebrate the fourth of July this year, I have the perfect party idea that is so much fun and easy to put together at the last minute too! Get ready to celebrate with some red, white, and BREW! This 4th of July beer tasting party is a great way to get all of your friends together, head outside, and celebrate America’s birthday with a cold one! 😉
St. Patrick’s Day is next week and one of the most popular ways to celebrate is by drinking a glass of delicious green beer! But you don’t have to go to your local bar to grab one. You can make your own! It’s super simple to do and you can use any variety of beer! Using only two ingredients, I’ll show you how to make green beer!
I almost didn’t post this cake. It has flaws and wasn’t up to par with my perfectionist self, then I thought…but it tastes good! It might not look pinterest perfect, but this chocolate stout beer cake with beer frosting still deserves it’s moment. And sometimes, it’s ok to post a project with flaws. I know when I see someone else do it, it makes me feel a little more adequate. I’m not a professional cake maker, and don’t claim to be. But I love making cakes (and eating them!), and this cake is just one more notch in my cake baking experience column.

I couldn’t be more thrilled that Summer is around the corner. I feel like Winter is holding on for dear life over here in Utah, despite it being JUNE, and I’m trying to be as patient as possible. But I can’t help getting caught up in all of the Summer planning. Barbecues, pool parties, picnics, and sports! I’m a HUGE sports girl and try to incorporate attending live games anywhere I can. Soccer is one of those fun summer sports that you can really get into. The crowd is a blast, the atmosphere at the games is electric, the food is amazing, and…BEER! Am I right?! Today’s post is all about incorporating all of those things into a delicious recipe for beer burgers with melted beer cheese.
Fridays are already one of, if not the best, days of the week, but I’m totally about to make it that much better for you.
Gift lists can be daunting and one of the ones that I dread is the infamous “neighbor gift”. Do you guys gift things to your neighbors?
I’m not sure if “punny” neighbor gifts are only a Utah thing or if they are popular across the country, but I’m always trying to come up with a smart and cheap gift idea that I can pull together quickly. (Mostly because I forget and do it at the last minute!) But, puns always become involved every year somehow. Go figure. I blame Utah.
