It’s apple picking season and one of my favorite fall activities! Besides making pies, and treats, what are other ways you can use up those delicious apples or apple cider? By making these tasty apple cider bellini cocktails!
It’s crazy to think that holiday season is right around the corner. I still can’t even accept the fact that Summer passed in the blink of an eye. (It must be a tell-tale sign of getting old). As October hits and our schedules start getting busier and busier, we have less time to think about gift ideas. With endless events, parties, birthdays, and holidays, they can sneak up on us and leave us scrambling. But, with a little prep work, or a saved pin on your pinterest board for later, you can store ideas away and be prepared well in advance this year! Today’s recipe works for just about any gift idea, and honestly, you can just keep it on hand at home, ready to pour when you have house guests stop by. This limoncello recipe is easier than pie, but it does take some patience and a little bit of time before it’s ready to sip.
A little over a year ago, I did the un-thinkable. I gave up soda. I didn’t think I could do it, but alas, here I am…living on coffee, un-sweetened iced tea, and water. LOTS of water. And, guys, I’m soooo not a water person. As much as I try to enjoy it, I just don’t. I force myself to drink it because it’s good for me, but I’d really prefer a Dr. Pepper (just being honest!).
If you’re anything like me, and bored with your normal water routine, today’s post was made for you! I’m sharing a few simple fruit pairings that are going to punch up the flavor in your regular old glass of H2O, and they are a breeze to make! Infused fruit water couldn’t be easier and it’s sooooo delish! And that’s coming from a non-water fan too, so that’s gotta mean something 😉
This melon sangria is a light and refreshing twist on the traditional recipe, but just as delicious and refreshing. Perfect for Cinco de Mayo too!
One thing that seems to help make a celebration successful are the drinks. A good cocktail can make all the difference at an event and really get people in the mood to party! With Cinco de Mayo coming up, sangria has been on my brain a lot, but I wanted to put some summer vibes out into the universe to get those warmer temps over to Utah faster. (It’s supposed to SNOW again next week. Ugh!) So, to switch things up a bit, I’m sharing a recipe for melon sangria that’s perfect to serve for your upcoming fiestas and a thirst quenching taste of Summer too!
You only need a few easy to find ingredients to pull this cocktail together and it’s a breeze to make, which is one of the reasons why I love sangria so much! (Well, besides that whole wine part, which is kinda hard to beat).
This birthday cake hot chocolate is easy to make, delicious, and there are sprinkles involved. Find out how to make your own batch for an upcoming birthday!
March is one of my favorite months. I may be a little bit biased, since my birthday takes place in March, but to me it signifies a fresh start. Spring is starting to peek it’s little head out of the snow filled clouds, bulbs are starting to shoot up out of the ground, and yes, I turn another year
older wiser. As I get older, I dread some things, but I’ve actually learned to appreciate each and every new year that hits me. And so far, the 30’s have been the best yet. (I might change my tune when I hit 40. I’ll keep you guys posted). This year, I was lucky enough to celebrate surrounded by friends, but there is one thing that I can think of that would have made my birthday that much better…Birthday cake hot chocolate!
Serve something a little different for game day this year. Try one of these delicious Bloody Mary recipes and have some fun with your garnishes!
We’re less than a week away from game day and I always like to think of ways to switch up the traditional Super Bowl inspired menu. Sure, the classics are great, don’t get me wrong, but I like it when I can serve something that’s a little bit unexpected. It helps make each and every gathering a little bit different and who doesn’t like a surprise every now and then?
Beer is a football staple. I’m a huge football fan, and I don’t usually turn one down when I’m at a game, but for the Super Bowl, why not take things up a notch and serve a brunch classic? The ever popular bloody mary! It pairs perfectly with game day snacks and there are sooo many ways to customize them for each one of your guests. (You could even set up a DIY bloody mary bar!) Today I’m sharing two different bloody mary recipes with you, just in case you want to try something a little different than the traditional bloody mary recipe. But, if not, I’ve got the traditional covered too. 😉
Sharing a recipe for a citrus sidekick cocktail, the perfect cocktail to sip with your girlfriends for “galentine’s day” this year!
Valentine’s Day can definitely be one of those days that you dread. A holiday filled with pink, red, and love everywhere. If you don’t happen to have a significant other to share it with, there are plenty of other ways you can celebrate February the 14th that won’t make you loathe the holiday.
The idea of “Galentines” day has become very popular over the last few years and I love it! It’s a fun way to celebrate all of the awesome girlfriends in your life and some of us have quite a few that deserve some kudos every once in awhile!
I’ve teamed up with Ménage à Trois Vodka to create a yummy citrus sidekick cocktail that is inspired by all of the awesome “sidekicks” in my life. They are the perfect sip to cheers with this weekend!
It might still be January (for a few more days), but love is definitely in the air! The floral shops are full of brightly colored pink and red bouquets, boxes of chocolates and candy hearts are lining the aisles at the grocery stores, and reservations at the top restaurants are already booking up. For me and the hubs, Valentine’s day is the perfect night to spend in, ordering pizza, wearing sweats, and watching netflix. Does that make us old?
Whether you plan to spend Valentine’s Day in or out this year, there are still some fun and simple ways you can celebrate the holiday without going broke or spending a lot of time planning.
Today’s post is great for the kids, a fun v-day party, or even for adults who don’t plan on drinking over the holidays. These non-alcoholic Cupid’s Arrow Shirley Temples are easy to make, yummy, and too cute!
