Easter eggs, but make them fashion. That time of year is upon us, and I’m always on the hunt for a new, fun, and yet easy way to decorate my Easter eggs. There are some STUNNING tutorials out there on the web, but I’m not trying to spend a week creating one batch of eggs. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Today’s Easter DIY is simple with a capital “S”. It doesn’t require any dye, so no stained counters, hands, or large messes to clean up either. With only two supplies, you can make these cute DIY animal print Easter eggs in no time!

I pride myself on being a great gifter. I love planning out fun ideas and picking out the perfect items for the people on my list every year. I have quite a few friends that travel a lot for work throughout the year, and they are always really tough to buy for because they are always on the road. This year, I put together a really fun travel themed holiday gift idea that is easy and features a VERY cool product that I am obsessed with and am planning to pick up for myself too!

We’re smack dab in the middle of holiday houseguest season and I thought I would share some simple and easy tips with you guys today, to get your bathroom house guest ready! These holiday houseguest bathroom tips are great ways to help your guests feel more comfortable, prepared, and less embarrassed when certain situations pop up. (And we’ve all been there!)
The holidays are in full swing and I’m diving headfirst right into all of the fun! One of my favorite things to do while wrapping up gifts and listening to Christmas music is to make this easy stove top holiday potpourri.
It fills the house with the best scents of the season and really gets me into the holiday spirit. It’s perfect to have simmering on the stove when hosting a holiday party, having friends or family over, or just settling in for a cozy holiday movie night on the couch!

If you guys have been hanging around the blog for a while now, you know that Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday of the year. I go all out and try to cram in as many October themed activities as possible to really get the full “All Hallows Eve” experience in. I usually like to throw some sort of get-together for my friends and family too. Whether it is a Halloween themed party, dinner party, or just a movie marathon night, I infuse as much Halloween goodness as I can into all of my entertaining plans during October.
One fun way to incorporate some spook into your next Halloween gathering is with a fun Halloween dessert table! I love putting dessert tables together because they really let your imagination go wild and who doesn’t love treats?!
Is it just me, or does this week seem to be going by unusually fast? I’m consistently seem to be a day behind and I’ve been struggling with keeping track of which day I’m waking up to. I’m just going to blame my loss of sanity on the crazy schedules that I’m living in right now. Work schedules, blog schedules, and personal schedules all see to be all over this place this month with the busy holiday events that are taking place.
If you’re living in temporary madness like me, it could be hard to put together details for your own little get together, but I’m sharing a super easy tutorial today that you can literally forget to do until the day you need to decorate. (It’s that quick and easy!)
It’s one thing to think about the decor for your home, or table, but there’s an easy way you can bring a little bit of “festiveness” (is that even a word?) to your party chairs too!
These easy holiday chair wreaths are simple to make, only use a few supplies (3!) and you can find the greenery in your own backyard!

I don’t know about you guys, but I have compiled quite the collection of washi tape since it’s been released on the scene. It’s definitely hard to walk by the cute little displays and not snatch up fun new patterns or colors that you may have missed before. Plus, you can use them for SO many different projects! From labels, to invitations, and even room decor, they are definitely an easy to use and universal craft supply!
There are a ton of different brands on the market, but I always seem to find myself picking up Scotch® Expressions Tape. One of the reasons that I love it is because of all of the fun patterns and colors they always release! It seems like there are new varities out for each holiday season (glitter!) and I love the variety of colors they offer too. (Hello, neon!) They are also so versatile! I’ve used them for so many different projects and I am always coming up with more fun ways to use them, which is exactly what I’m going to show you guys today!
Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s officially time to put up the tree and decorate for the holidays. That is, unless your decorations are already hung proudly, and you boycotted the rule of “Thanksgiving first”.
I usually struggle to decide which route I want to go with my holiday decorating style every year. I’m always drawn to the minimal and rustic elements that look so pretty with natural wood and a light dusting of snow, but it seems that my modern loving heart always seems to win out. If I can find a way to mesh the two styles without looking crazy, then I get the best of both worlds.
The interior always gets my main focus, with putting up the tree, changing the holiday china, lighting my pine scented candles, and making sure there is enough Christmas music playing to drive the hubs crazy. Sure, I throw a few wreaths up outside, but I really wanted to dress the front entry way this year and give it a little more thought than I usually do.
So I’m sharing some really easy ways to transform some basic things to make your holiday front door decorations shine this year! (And trust me, it’s easier than you think!)
