I can definitely say that we’ve been cooking and baking A LOT at our house during quarantine. It’s been fun to re-connect in the kitchen, but sometimes you really just need to get out and grab something from your favorite restaurant in town. Luckily, they’ve kept the restaurants open for take out and we’ve splurged a few times, because it’s all about supporting local and keeping your faves in business, right? In honor of that, I’m sharing some fun printable temporary take out tattoos that you can print right from the comfort of your own home! They’re fun for the whole family to play around with during quarantine, and since most of us are working from home right now, your boss won’t judge you either 😉
Easter might look a little different this year, but I still wanted to sneak a fun easter egg decorating tutorial into the mix that you guys STILL have time to do before Sunday! These Easter eggs are ready to party , even though they’re stuck at home, and yours can become party animal Easter eggs too with a few simple supplies and some creativity!
I’ve officially been working from home for two full weeks now and my company is set to stay home for at least another month. (Thanks Corona!) In the beginning, I was allll about working from home. Saving time on my morning commute, strolling down to my desk in pj’s, and happy hours whenever I felt like it. And while working from home absolutely does have it’s perks (like those above), it also sucks feeling like you’re stuck inside sitting and staring at a computer all day. Lately I’ve been trying to find ways to spend the hours after work and during my make-shift “lunch breaks” to get up and get active, which totally helps to keep my mood lifted. One thing that helps? Good music! Today I’m sharing something I put together to inspire you guys to get active too. This get up and move playlist is filled to the brim with songs that always seem to inspire bad dance moves and lip sync performances of the best kind.
So grab your dancing shoes (or cozy slippers, like the ones I’ve been living in), get up and move! [Read more…]

If you’re not interested in boiling eggs and worrying about dye staining your counters, this fun and easy “egg” decorating tutorial might be the perfect Easter project to try this year! I’m not sure about you guys, but REESE’S Eggs are a hot commodity at my house during the holiday, so I thought it would be fun to switch things up a little bit and decorate some peanut butter rainbow Easter eggs this year! They’re such a fun canvas to get creative with and let your families’ imaginations run wild!
Now that we’ve covered the girls and the guys, it’s time to talk about some stocking stuffer ideas for kids! I wanted to put together some items that aren’t sweets and are things that kids will actually use. Some of them will even help your lives go a little easier too 😉 Getting them out from in front of a screen and doing something different was also up there on the top of my list, so a lot of these items are great for families, letting them get creative, or learning a few things too. Holy hell…it’s December. Where did 2019 even go? I know I’ve been distracted for a good part of this year with a cross country move, a wedding, and a new house keeping me busy, but honestly, I’m still shocked that the year flew by like it did. But enough about the new year…we still have one more month of 2019 left and it’s probably going to be a busy one! This month’s printable December 2019 calendar coloring page should help to keep all of that holiday fun of yours organized!
I’m writing to you guys from the road today. Not literally, but when this post goes live I’ll be smack dab in the middle of my cross country road trip (and hopefully at least half way there). The drive is over 2,000 miles and I’m hoping to make it to the edge of Tennessee (and Josh) in two days. Crazy, maybe? But I’m just sooooo ready to be there. And because tomorrow is October 1st, I didn’t want you guys waiting on me to get my life together (which will probably take a little bit), so I’m posting the new printable October 2019 calendar coloring page today to get you into the Halloween spirit and ready for my very favorite month of the year!
June is officially here, which means we’re already HALF WAY through 2019! Whaaaaaat?! When did that happen?! I think part of the reason why I can’t wrap my head around it already being June has something to do with the big news that I shared yesterday. Prepping for that whole thing is pretty much taking up any and all of my free time and probably some of my sanity too. Oh, well. It will all be worth it, right? Since June has arrived, it’s time for another printable June 2019 calendar coloring page! These little guys are a great monthly way to get those colored pencils or markers out, de-stress, and get in touch with your 5 year old self.
