I’m one of those people that lives for a holiday (you either love us or hate us). I’m the friend who’s always planning new activities, looking up fun events, or planning a new adventure, all while simultaneously trying to get everyone else to go and do them with me. I try to squeeze in as many things as I can to really make myself feel like I’m getting the most out of the season. To be honest, I think it’s me trying to recreate the holiday magic that I always felt as a kid. Once you turn into an adult, the magic just isn’t the same. So instead of just going through the motions, I really try to stop and take in as much of a holiday or season as I can. One way I like to do that is to create a checklist! I make a list of all the things I want to do that make me feel the “magic” again. The items change based on the holiday, or the season, and can be new things I’ve never done before, or classic go-to traditions that I make sure to accomplish each year. Today, I’m sharing my printable winter activity checklist with you guys!

Printable Temporary Take Out Tattoos
I can definitely say that we’ve been cooking and baking A LOT at our house during quarantine. It’s been fun to re-connect in the kitchen, but sometimes you really just need to get out and grab something from your favorite restaurant in town. Luckily, they’ve kept the restaurants open for take out and we’ve splurged a few times, because it’s all about supporting local and keeping your faves in business, right? In honor of that, I’m sharing some fun printable temporary take out tattoos that you can print right from the comfort of your own home! They’re fun for the whole family to play around with during quarantine, and since most of us are working from home right now, your boss won’t judge you either 😉

Easter might look a little different this year, but I still wanted to sneak a fun easter egg decorating tutorial into the mix that you guys STILL have time to do before Sunday! These Easter eggs are ready to party , even though they’re stuck at home, and yours can become party animal Easter eggs too with a few simple supplies and some creativity!
Get Up and Move Playlist
I’ve officially been working from home for two full weeks now and my company is set to stay home for at least another month. (Thanks Corona!) In the beginning, I was allll about working from home. Saving time on my morning commute, strolling down to my desk in pj’s, and happy hours whenever I felt like it. And while working from home absolutely does have it’s perks (like those above), it also sucks feeling like you’re stuck inside sitting and staring at a computer all day. Lately I’ve been trying to find ways to spend the hours after work and during my make-shift “lunch breaks” to get up and get active, which totally helps to keep my mood lifted. One thing that helps? Good music! Today I’m sharing something I put together to inspire you guys to get active too. This get up and move playlist is filled to the brim with songs that always seem to inspire bad dance moves and lip sync performances of the best kind.
So grab your dancing shoes (or cozy slippers, like the ones I’ve been living in), get up and move! [Read more…]

Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Kids
Now that we’ve covered the girls and the guys, it’s time to talk about some stocking stuffer ideas for kids! I wanted to put together some items that aren’t sweets and are things that kids will actually use. Some of them will even help your lives go a little easier too 😉 Getting them out from in front of a screen and doing something different was also up there on the top of my list, so a lot of these items are great for families, letting them get creative, or learning a few things too.
