Some of you may have snow already (Utah, I’m talking to you…), but here in North Carolina it’s finally starting to feel like fall. The leaves on the trees are changing colors and I’ve been loving the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet when I take Sophie for a walk. The mornings are crisp and cool and I feel like it makes me appreciate my morning coffee just a little bit more. If you’re craving a little bit more “fall” in your life, and you haven’t already jumped full swing onto the Christmas music bandwagon, I’m sharing the perfect cozy fall playlist today that will want to make you curl up in a blanket, sip something warm, and relax. (Watching the snow or the rain fall while listening is an added bonus).
We might not have snow at the moment, but I’m still craving warmer days, palm trees, and pink flamingo’s in my cocktails.
The California climate and I were made for each other and it seems, every December, I ask myself (and the hubs) why we chose to live in a state that gets so cold, snowy, and yucky in the winter months.
Here’s to hoping that we wise up and make a move sometime in the near future. Until then, I’ll just obsess over my western neighbor and grab a few of these guys to make my current situation a bit more sunny.
