Fall is one of my very favorite times to get in the car, roll down the windows and drive. Either toward a fun destination for a weekend road trip, or just to see the leaves changing colors and to take in the crisp fall air in your own neighborhood. (It also usually involves me tracking down the nearest apple cider donuts). This year, more than ever, lots of people are forced to vacation closer to home, which means more time in the car than usual. One of the ways I like to make the time pass on a long trip is with good music! So today I’m sharing a fun and easy weekend road trip playlist full of tunes that are perfect to listen to out on the open road! [Read more…]
30 Ways to “Vacation” From Your Couch During Quarantine
I know a lot of people had vacations planned that had to be canceled due to quarantine and COVID-19, myself included. Spring break, weddings, foreign travel and how those things look right now have all changed and none of us have any idea when we’ll be able to get back to the “travel” part of our lives. We’ve been forced to pivot and now we’re all stuck inside, looking for ways to escape, get outside, and relive some stress. Depending on where you’re located in the country and world, that may look very different for each of us. So today, I thought I would share some creative and different virtual ideas that we can all participate in to do the best we can with what we’re working with at the moment. And, no, it doesn’t compare to a real trip at all, but it may help to pass the time at home and start a new travel bucket list for when it’s safe for us all to travel again! I take my donuts very seriously. Some might consider me a donut connoisseur, but I just consider myself a huge fan. Glazed, sprinkled, filled, or plain, I love them all and don’t discriminate. One of my favorite things about traveling is the food. Whenever a new travel destination is booked on my calendar, I dive deep into researching the best spots to eat, must try desserts, and local hot spots to indulge in the best a region has to offer. It’s a great way to experience a culture and even just trying new and unexpected flavor combinations before taking a trip, can inspire you to plan one too! And that is why I’m loving the three new M&M’S® flavors that were just released! I feel like I’m traveling with Internationally-Inspired M&M’S® candies every time I open up a new bag! [Read more…]
What To Pack For a Long Flight
I feel like all I did last year was travel. Not that I’m complaining at all. It was amazing, but being on the road constantly can take a toll. On your skin, your sleep, your sanity, and your health! I wasn’t home for more than 3 weeks at a time last year, and because of that, I got a pretty good idea of what items worked for me (and what didn’t), when it came to packing my carry-on bag. I just booked a flight out to Orlando for spring training, so today’s post seemed like the perfect time to share all of my favorite carry-on items with you guys and what to pack for a long flight!

This year, I put together a really fun travel themed holiday gift idea that is easy and features a VERY cool product that I am obsessed with and am planning to pick up for myself too!
