The day and age of liquor bottles on display may be behind us, but I’m really hoping to bring them back. There’s just something so classic about those pretty glass decanters and rocks glasses next to a gorgeous ice bucket on a bar cart. Am I right? Very Mad Men-esque. I love the masculine qualities they evoke and the classy nod they can lend to a gathering! Today’s post, is all about bringing back a classic and updating it with a simple project! These DIY decanter tags are easy to make, really inexpensive, can be done in an afternoon, and look so sophisticated! A simple and fun way to upgrade an existing bar cart, wet bar, or drink display!
I’m a huge donut fan. If I can find a way to include them in my everyday, you know I’m going to take it. So it was only a matter of time before I found a way to incorporate donuts with cake! This easy donut hole cake hack not only saves you time, stress, and a messy kitchen, but it looks and tastes great too!
I can’t even handle how gorg these little beauties are. I went a little picture crazy on this post, just because I had a really hard time narrowing them down. So you guys will just have to suffer through them along with me, although I don’t think you’ll complain. 😉
I’ve seen similar posts floating around the internet but I wanted to try some floral cubes out for myself, and after making these rose ice cubes, I’m totally jumping on the floral bandwagon. They are just SO PRETTY!
With a little patience and my water trick to help make your finished cubes super clear, you’ll be
smelling sipping on roses in no time.
Although today’s post isn’t about what to gift your friends and family, it is about a fun and easy way to wrap those gifts up! These DIY glitter gift boxes add a fun pop to an otherwise boring gift box and did I mention they are easy? 😉 Who wouldn’t want a glitter topped gift? I know I would!

With the holidays sneaking up on us quickly, and endless party plans, gatherings, and entertaining on the horizon, it’s inevitable that minor aches and pains and a lack of sleep are on the agenda for a lot of us. I know that I always end up being on my feet for a lot longer than I plan on, which leads to sore feet and lower back pain! Plus those long days usually turn into long nights and the last thing I need is for minor aches and pains to interrupt my, already diminished, hours of sleep. But, if you guys are serial entertainers like me, don’t fret about the wear and tear of the upcoming season! I’m sharing a few of my favorite things to give those aches and pains, and the lack of sleep you might be experiencing, the kick in the butt they need! This easy tutorial for DIY lavender pillow mist takes minutes to put together and would also make a great gift too!
I feel like a lot of people get overwhelmed when they hear the word “canning”. Granted, it can be a little intimidating if you’ve never tried it before or don’t know where to start, but I promise that it’s easier than it looks. Once you’ve nailed the process the first time around, you’ll be more willing to tackle new recipes and experiment with new flavors. And, I swear, it really is easier than it seems! 😉 And you’ll definitely want to keep canning after you taste how delicious this strawberry jam recipe is too!
I don’t think that many people think about ordering a plain white cake from the bakery counter at their local grocery store. They automatically assume that they have to purchase one of the ornately decorated cakes in the cooler section. You know…those ones excessively covered in cheesy character decor and semi-terrible handwritten frosting? (Insert grimacing face emoji here). Granted, those grocery store character cakes do have a time and place at some events and gatherings, but, it is totally possible to eliminate A LOT of the work that goes into baking your own cake by ordering a white cake from the bakery and taking care of the decorating yourself. And did I mention, it’s super CHEAP and saves you a ton of time too? (Which I am ALL about!) For today’s hack, I used an old school candy favorite to transform this cake. This rock candy cake hack couldn’t be simpler guys. But it sure does transform a plain white grocery store cake into a fun little show piece when done.
These DIY diamond wine charms are easy to make, super cute, and can be made in an afternoon. Check out the tutorial!
Believe it or not, I’m a newbie when it comes to the world of wine. I’ve moved onto some more classic whites and have ventured farther than a Moscato or Riesling, but I’m still not a reds fan yet. (I’m working on it!) As I’ve dived deeper into all things grape, I find myself hosting more and more wine nights, researching perfect pairings, and geeking out over wine glasses and other accessories. One of the things that I don’t have yet….? Wine charms! It’s really easy to misplace your glass when you have a few friends over, so I decided to make some fun DIY diamond wine charms for myself!
