Life’s been a little crazy lately, as per usual, and I feel like I’m playing catch up around here, but there’s been SO much going on in our little rental house. Josh left for Florida to head back to work for the upcoming baseball season, I started a new job here in Charlotte, which I’m still getting used to after taking the last four months off, and we’ve been knee deep in alllll the house plans, which I’ll be sharing more about soon. But despite how chaotic things have gotten, I wasn’t about to miss out on posting the recipe for this Valentine’s day passion cocktail, which also happens to be the February cocktail of the month! It’s easy to make and makes enough for two! Which means you can share it with someone special, your bestie, or just refill your own glass when it’s getting a little low.
Galentines Day Photo Booth Props
I’ve gotta admit, I have some AMAZING girlfriends in my life. And, although I try to make sure they know how much I appreciate them and their friendship throughout the whole year, I’m alllll about celebrating them for a holiday too! Plus, galentine’s day just gives me another excuse to hang out with them! If you’re throwing a galentine’s day soiree this year, these galentine’s day photo booth props are SO easy to make and take no time at all to put together! And they are SO cute!
Red Velvet Skillet Cookie for Two
I’m definitely more of a stay home and celebrate Valentine’s day kinda girl. I don’t love waiting hours for dinner at a restaurant, or making reservations 3 months in advance, but any excuse to make a delicious dessert to share with someone special….yep, count me in. And this one is a total winner! It’s easy to make, quick to bake, and who doesn’t love a warm cookie with a gooey center? Plus, it’s the perfect size for two! And did I mention red velvet? This red velvet skillet cookie for two just might become your new fave…and for good reason!
Printable February 2019 Calendar: Coloring Pages!
Another day and another new month! And you know what that means….another new printable calendar! This printable February 2019 calendar is a little bit “sweeter” than last month, and fits in perfectly with a pink obsessed holiday that happens on the 14th of the month. Plus, it involves coloring chocolates and hearts. Come on.
Whether you are a Valentine’s day fan or not, can we at least agree on how great it is when the candy and chocolate goes on clearance the day after? I think that should be the real holiday!
Rose Ice Cubes
I can’t even handle how gorg these little beauties are. I went a little picture crazy on this post, just because I had a really hard time narrowing them down. So you guys will just have to suffer through them along with me, although I don’t think you’ll complain. 😉
I’ve seen similar posts floating around the internet but I wanted to try some floral cubes out for myself, and after making these rose ice cubes, I’m totally jumping on the floral bandwagon. They are just SO PRETTY!
With a little patience and my water trick to help make your finished cubes super clear, you’ll be smelling sipping on roses in no time.
Valentine Fold Out Cards
Today is Valentine’s Day! How many of you are still un-prepared? Raise your hands. It’s ok, you don’t need to hide. I’m sure there are a lot more of you than you realize. My dad famously ran to the grocery store one year and bought my mom a blow dryer because he forgot. So, it could be worse. (TIP: Don’t buy your significant other a blow dryer. It did not go over well).
And don’t worry…I’ve got something that can help to add a fun little touch to an existing gift you already have or to make your Valentine’s day table pop that much more. Plus, it doesn’t get much easier than these printable Valentine fold out cards!
Not only are they easy, but they involve food puns. Yep, FOOD puns. Pretty much my favorite thing ever. I mean, I’d probably be happy with just the card, if I was gifted one of these little guys. They are just too cute!
These Valentine fold out cards have endless possibilities. Not only would they make adorable gift tags to attach onto your Valentine’s Day gifts, but they also make really fun placecards for a Valentine’s Day dinner, brunch, or galentine’s day celebration too! And because all they require is a printer and some scissors, you still have time to add them to your tablescape this year! Win/win! [Read more…]
Valentine Lip Pinatas
Looking for a gift idea for Valentine’s Day? These DIY Valentine lip pinatas are fun, festive, and the perfect thing to fill with your bestie’s favorites!
I’m a big gifter. Whether a simple card in the mail, a care package tailored to a specific recipient, or something homemade, gift giving is a way that I like to show the people in my life that I’m thinking about them and that they mean a lot to me. It’s one of my favorite things to do and I’m always on the hunt for fun ideas to package up little things. These Valentine Lip Pinatas will do just the trick for V-day this year. A little unconventional, but oh, so fun and festive!
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I was itching for something to give to my girlfriends this year. It is my first Gal-entine’s day after all! I decided to make some Valentine Lip Pinatas to use as a “bag” and pack them full of little things that I knew each of the girls in my life would love. A piñata is used to store candy, so why not take it up a notch and pack them full of great stuff that any of us would want? And, honestly, who doesn’t love a piñata?! Especially when they are this cute! Pucker up!
