I feel like you’re either team candy corn or not. There’s no in between. It’s strange, because I never loved candy corn as a kid. I always thought it was waxy and flavorless, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve started liking it more and more. (What does that say about my tastebuds?) If you’re on the pro-candy corn train, these candy corn Halloween cocktails are right up your alley, and if not, vodka is involved so what’s not to like? 😉 [Read more…]
Arnold Palmer Popsicles
We’re heading into the last long weekend of Summer, and as much as I love Halloween and colder days, I’m still hanging onto as much Summer goodness as I can. 100 degree temps can get old after awhile, but they are a whole lot easier to bear with one of these Arnold Palmer popsicles in hand! These boozy adult popsicles are the perfect treat for this Labor day weekend (or, let’s be honest…any day that ends in “Y”).
James Bond Martini Recipe
One of my VERY favorite movie series of all time, hands down, has to be James Bond. I don’t even think I can narrow it down to a specific favorite movie in the series. I like them all. Although, I did start out as a Pierce Brosnan fan, once Daniel Craig took over, was there really any going back? (Let’s be serious). There’s just something about a handsome guy in a suit, driving a gorgeous sports car, wielding a gun, and kicking some serious ass. Maybe I have a thing for British spies…? Who knows. But, on National Martini Day, it only seems right to highlight and celebrate one of the most famous martinis of all time. The James Bond martini recipe. If Mr. Bond approves of this classy cocktail, I do too.
Boozy Coconut Iced Coffee
I know that the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte (or PSL) tends to be the drink of choice during the Fall, but I’m an iced coffee girl through and through. No matter the season, the weather, or the temperature, you’ll find me sipping on an iced coffee. But with Halloween right around the corner, you KNOW I had to up the iced coffee ante, right? I’m sharing an easy recipe for this “BOO”-zy coconut iced coffee, complete with whipped topping and toasted coconut. These ghost cups are perfect for Halloween, but this tasty coffee cocktail is perfect to serve all year long!
